Villa Exotica - All the luxury of home on the pacific coast 02/21/2008 | Beautiful surroundings, located close to everything. All the luxury of home on the pacific coast. Enjoyed all of Baru! The big easy. We had 4 bedrooms for 1 couple and 2 additional guests. Same rent for up to 8 people in a bargain. Everything was really comfortable. The beds are very very nice. Great views and easy access to the beach at Baru and Dominical. Property manager was specially helpful. Very highly recommended! / |
Bill, Ted, Kurt & Beatrice (Boulder Creek, CA US) Villa Pacifica - We lucked out choosing this spot for our Wedding (on the balcony) and Honeymoon 02/20/2008 | This place is named perfectly. It was a fabulous experience from start to finish. The spectacular layout of the villa is surpassed only by the breathtaking view from the balconies. We lucked out choosing this spot for our "Wedding" (on the balcony) and "Honeymoon". We have just begun to scratch the surface of activities available. Beginning with the delectable feast prepared by Wilberth for our wedding, jungle hiking to the waterfalls, mountain biking, zip lining, dolphin tour, complete with an incredible display of dolphins frolicking in the sea, snorkeling, a day trip to Manuel Antonio, and afternoons on the numerous secluded beaches. As far as the first class treatment from Ray, I cannot thank him enough. His warm and kind nature are such as asset to the entire "Costa Rican Experience". Rick's clever vision and creation of this tropical paradise is most impressive. But, Ray's heartwarming personality creates the "magic" that makes dreams come true. Thanks to the sun and moon that both made rainbows/halos for us. Thanks to the waves for being warm and gentle. Thanks to the ocean for giving us a mackrel which we grilled here. Thanks to the dolphins for coming to play with us. Thanks to the tucans, pelicans, and all the birds that we could't even name but enjoyed their flight. / |

Ray took care of everything for us including helping us host a party. The chef Wilberth was amazing. We enjoyed every bite and every drink. Now it's time to move on, but will be back for sure! Thanks for everything. P.S. We don't recommend running up and down the hill unless you're a "loco". / |
