Getting to Brisas del Paraiso/Paradise Breezes is easier than you think!
Getting to Costa Rica is easy. Most major US carriers serve Costa Rica nonstop from multiple gateways. Miami, Atlanta, Houston, Los Angeles, Dallas, Charlotte, and New York City/Newark are just some of the major US cities that serve either Juan Santamaria International Airport in San Jose, or Daniel Oduber International Airport in Liberia in the north part of the country. To reach Dominical, the more convenient airport is Juan Santamaria International Airport in San Jose.

By Car
There are many car rental companies to choose from in Costa Rica, and the best way to rent is to pick up and drop off your car at the airport. Costa Rica is a stunningly beautiful country. Most intercity roads are 2 lanes and are in good shape. However, they may be poorly sign-posted, although “Ticos,” as Costa Ricans are known, are friendly and helpful. Most major car rental companies are represented in Costa Rica.

Domestic Air Travel
The fastest way around Costa Rica is by domestic airline. There are 2 major domestic carriers, Sansa Airlines (www.flysansa.com) and Nature Air (www.natureair.com). Please note that Nature Air does not serve Juan Santamaria International Airport and requires an approximate 30-minute taxi ride to the Pavas International Airport.

Once comfortably settled in your luxury villa, you will require motor vehicle transportation. If you arrive by other than your own rental car, we can help arrange for a private driver to be at your disposal, secure a rental car for you from a local agency, or arrange for taxi service when needed. Our Recommendations:
We have 2 suggestions, each with its pros and cons.
Quickest - After arriving in San Jose, take a Sansa (www.flysansa.com) single-engine commuter flight to Quepos. They run frequently and run around $49 each way.. Total travel time: Air 20 minutes; Ground approximately 25 minutes on the newly completed Pacific Coastal Highway
Most Scenic - If you like scenic drives through the mountains, you've come to the right country. The roads are in good shape, but plan on 3 to 3 ½ hours depending on the time and day you are traveling. The mountain portion is around 60-75 minutes and then you will continue on the Pacific Coastal Highway. You'll enjoy a beautiful scenic drive through 10,000 + foot mountains and then a rocky pacific coastline. A must-do in at least one direction if you want to see the beautiful vistas. So if you have the patience for a long drive either in your own rental vehicle (which we can arrange for you) or chauffeured through magnificent terrain, you will be well rewarded. (Our driver's van can seat 10 adults but is most comfortable for parties of 8 or fewer.) An extra benefit is the stop you can make at the Automercado Supermarket in Jaco and stock up on groceries. The Automercado carries most international brands.
